About

I have been using Nikon dSLR's since November 2005. I began my photography efforts in 1984 with a Canon AE-1. I loved getting out and shooting anything I saw that interested me. I soon learned to develop my own black and white film. I lost my passion for photography between 1990 and 2005 when I needed something to keep me going. I still have my old Canon, but lost most of my other things about 6 years ago when my daughter's car was stolen.

My photography expresses how I view the world around me. Many times my photos have elicited very strong emontional comments, some for and some against. I, like many photographers, don't always agree with the things I see and photograph, but recognize the emotion, beauty, or interest in a particular subject.

I am a serious amatuer photographer and use photography as an outlet of the day to day stresses in life.
